The Adventure Club Offers Temporary Child Care Assistance for Essential Personnel’s Children
CHRISTIANSBURG, VIRGINIA, March 25, 2020, Donna Thornton-Roberts, CEO of Child Care Consulting Services, Inc. announced today a new program to provide emergency and Temporary Child Care Assistance to first responders and medical professionals during the Corona crisis.
Three locations open and ready to serve young children.
- Graceachild in Christiansburg at 125 Scattergood Drive NW and the Radford center is at 602 13thproviding temporary- emergency childcare for children under the age of 5.
- Online Enrollment Process at www.graceachild.org
- Private facility tours will be offered.
- Adventure Club at GalaxyPlay at 77 Scattergood Drive is providing temporary childcare for school age children 5 to 10 years old.
- Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Meals: TAC is providing Breakfast and Afternoon Snack and MCPS is providing lunches devlivered until May 30th.
- Services: We offer help with homework (please bring your child’s assigned school work each day), STEM activities, Lego’s, board games, arts & crafts, arcade games, a large indoor area for physical activity and team games, and an outdoor playground.

- Rates: Offering hourly rates, fixed daily rates, and a flat weekly rate.
- REGISTRATION FEES:
* WAIVED! NO enrollment fees will be charged during this temporary season. - DAILY OPTION:
* @ $50 per child, each day. Charges processed will be processed at the end of each business day. - HOURLY OPTION:
* @ $10 per hour. Charges will be processed at the end of each business day. - WEEKLY OPTION:
* @130 per week. Charges will be processed the business day before services are rendered.

March 24, 2020, Governor Northam determined licensed childcare centers to be an essential service which grants children’s centers the ability to continue providing childcare without the risk of interruption of services to families.
