Happy Friday Adventure Club Family,
Wow what a year! I don’t think anyone of us could have predicted 9 months ago that we would still be dealing with the challenges of COVID.
This year has required of us all to be flexible! Managing the priority of keeping every child healthy and focused on virtual learning has been a collectaive and relentless effort. We are so thankful for your trust and confidence in our ability to provide an essential service of school-age childcare.
I have been overwhelmingly proud of our entire Adventure Club staff who have worked tirelessly to provide consistently safe – learning environments for every location we serve.
The Adventure Club’s leadership and support staff have done an outstanding job. I am especially proud of Ms. Lesley in her new role as Chief Executive Officer. She has taken on the daily challenges with poise and grace as a seasoned professional with many years of experience.
Along with building her team, welcoming new families to The Adventure Club, and implementing additional practices to keep everyone healthy, Ms. Lesley has put in place additional plans to ensure childcare is available if schools return to virtual learning. She has also put in place additional processes to ensure seamless operations if anyone of her team members must be quarantine or cannot work.
I also want to share that Ms. Deanne Sowers, our Chief Operating Officer, has applied for and received numerous PPE grants! She has seized every opportunity to secure those funds and products which has kept The Adventure Club fully stocked. Every site we serve has been blessed with products to keep our children safe and our environments clean and sanitized.
All of us can be immensely proud of The Adventure Club teams that provide trustworthy care and give you peace of mind in the middle of a pandemic that all of us hope will end soon.
